The Balik Foundation  is a non-profit organization under IRS 501 (c) (3). Its mission is to help artists to promote and develop human awareness, cultivate the utmost potential of people to be able to take on leadership roles in training and human development towards global responsibility for the betterment of the global community and that in Long Island.

The Balik Foundation’s programs are where our mission really comes to life. They’re designed to make Filipino culture easy to jump into—fun, hands-on, and meaningful for all ages. From kids discovering their roots to adults reconnecting with theirs, our programs bring generations together and create the heart and energy of our community.

Goals

Its goals are as follows:

1. To promote Filipino artistry and creativity;

2. To foster awareness and appreciation of Philippine artistic and musical heritage in the community;

3. To promote cultural interaction among various ethnic groups in the community;

4. Grow our dedicated volunteer base and formalize partnerships with local artists, schools, and cultural institutions. By strengthening this network, we will create a more integrated and collaborative ways for promoting Filipino heritage, increasing program participation, and creating new platforms for cultural expression and community-led initiatives.
