The Balik Foundation is a non-profit organization under IRS 501(c)(3). Our mission is to help artists promote and develop human awareness, as well as cultivate the utmost potential of people to take on leadership roles in training and human development. We strive towards global responsibility for the betterment of both the global community and our community on Long Island.

The Balik Foundation’s programs are where our mission really comes to life. From kids discovering their roots to adults reconnecting with theirs, our programs bring generations together and create the heart and energy of our community. This foundation is established in honor of my parents, my grandparents, and my ancestors who have made me the person I am today and have given us a rich history and carried on the traditions that make us who we are.

• To foster awareness and appreciation of Philippine artistic and musical heritage in the community;

• To promote cultural interaction among various ethnic groups in the community;

• Grow our dedicated volunteer base and formalize partnerships with local artists, schools, and cultural institutions.
